  • Happy National Hug a Tree Day. Love that there is a day dedicated to this! Did you know that hugging a tree helps increase levels of oxytocin?! So in honor of this day, I’m dedicating this post to the OG tree hugger in our family, my Grammy. ❤️
  • The past few months have been a shitshow to say the least. Yup, I said it. A shitshow. Throughout this crazy time, I’ve had to remind myself of the things that keep me going: A simple notebook to jot down before bed thoughts, nighttime reading with my kids, an old fashioned newspaper (absorbing the smell and finding the positives, not just BREAKING NEWS that fuels my anxiety), re-centering my senses and listening to my body for a change, and just getting comfortable and not caring if I wear pajamas ALL. DAY. LONG. It's about the little things and throwing out any judgement. Because at the end of the day, I’m grateful.
