My ACL Playlist

I’m obsessed with playlists. They get me through long runs, long drives, and just plain long days. Since I’m really looking forward to ACL Fest kicking off tomorrow (!), I put this Spotify playlist together (below) that features some of my favorite songs from artists who will be playing at the festival this year. Scroll down to give my ACL playlist a listen, and then let me know in the comments which tune is your favorite!

“Dancing on My Own” by Robyn

“Just Like Heaven” by The Cure

“Bright Lights” by Gary Clark Jr.

“Charleston Girl” by Tyler Childers

“Salute your Solution” by the Raconteurs

“High Horse” by Kasey Musgraves “Kasey just gets me. I love how she has fun with lyrics and her music. She just lifts me up.”

“All the Debts I Owe” by Caamp

“Settle For Satisfied” by the Stone Wheels

“Whywhywhy” by Misterwives

“Naive” by the Kooks

“Lovely” by Billie Eilish (with Khalid)

“November Rain” by Guns n’ Roses “I remember buying this album—the double CD case with mirrored art—at Tower Records. Every song was insane but nothing like the epic adventure “November Rain” brings me on. I’ll never forget watching MTV and seeing Stephanie Seymour walking in her wedding dress in this video.”

“Keep on Calling” by Nilufer Tanya

“Bind Mind” by Erin Rae

“If the Creek Don’t Rise” by Dylan LeBlanc

“Me and Your Mama” by Childish Gambino

“Take it All Back” by Judah and the Lion

“I Like It” by Cardi B “I can’t help but smile every time I listen to this song.”

“Feel Something” by Kyd the Band

“Freakin Out on the Interstate” by Briston Maroney

“Feeling Alright” by Rebelution

“This Land” by Gary Clark Jr.

“Good as Hell,” by Lizzo

“Where’s the Catch?” by James Blake “I listen to this song on repeat. The combination of Blake’s insane vocal talent paired with Andre 3000 makes my heart sing.”

“Common Man” by Caamp

“Barefoot in the Park” by James Blake

“Devil Eyes” by Hippie Sabotage

“Lady Like” by Ingrid Address

“Brooklyn” by Patrick Drones

“This is America” by Childish Gambino “This man is a force to be reckoned with. I love when art and soul collide and when an artist speaks their truth in the most profound, poetic way. I can’t not feel moved every time I listen to this song.”

I love November Rain so much 👍👏😍😍. Thank you 🙏😘.

  • Axelle

I have to go with Lizzo. That woman is a gift to the world, she radiates energy and love, and everything she does is a much, much needed ode to self love. What a line up ACL has, though !! You are gonna have such a blast. I can’t wait to see the happy pictures !!!

I like all kinds of music.

  • Aimee Paul

Love Billie’s voice as well as Lizzie…but I’m 💯 an 80’s girl. You can’t beat one of those bands, ever. So anything with GNR or The Cure gets my vote.
    I’m like you…that video…the rain…the roses…the piano…the dress…epic.

      ^Lizzo LoL
      It’s been a hell of a day! 😂

November Rain. Beautiful and epic plus it’s got 2 great Slash solos!

I have to go with GNR November Rain. I love this song and the video was amazing as well.

You should check out Billy Strings at ACL! Amazing music 🎶

Jake White is one of the best guitarist and musitaba of our generation, so make sure you prep some new Raconteurs! Make I recommend Sunday Driver and Help Me Stranger. My absolute favorite, and one I’m sure they will play (I just saw them) is Blue Veins. It’s amazing! Jack will destroy you and Jared with his guitar riff, so watch the kids!

I like a lot and diverse music, I DO have a “driving“ and a “running“, a “workout“ as well a “have fun while cleaning“ 😛playlist so this is right up my alley! The whole list is fun, but my Top Hit is LIZZO👍

I’m a total 80s girl, so I’m all for GNR and The Cure and Bon Jovi. With that being said I love Billie Eilish’s lyrics. They are so dark and deep and beautiful. Reminds me of the way I used to write whenever I was in a dark place in life.
