Our March N&G Book Club Pick was Infinite Country by award-winning Colombian-American writer Patricia Engel. Her novel, which focuses on two generations of a Colombian family that is ripped apart by deportation, was one of the most buzzed about books this spring (and was also a Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick). And for good reason: The book is exceptional. 

I enjoyed chatting with Patricia about what inspired the novel, how she structured the story, and her writing process.
