It’s Sweater Weather!

It’s February, which means the weather is chilly, but the mood is warm. If you’ve been following along, you know I spent all of January in Vancouver with a handful of weekend trips to Whistler. Every day, it felt like I was reaching into my closet for another sweater to add to my rotation!

Soft, cozy sweaters weather cools down sweaters (especially paired with some jeans) are my uniform of choice. It’s perfect, simple outfit (and, as I slowly recover from baby brain, easy dressing that’s low maintenance while still looking “together” is key). There’s nothing like beautiful cashmere or soft cotton rubbed up against your cheek. Whether rocking a tight-knit or using one as a light layer, sweaters are made for this season. Need some knitted inspiration? Here’s a guide to some of the coziest sweaters–to wear alone or bundled up!

Thank you for this selection of sweats. You are so beautiful on pictures.
Unfortunately, some shops there are not in France. To see if I can find equivalences in my country.
    Have a good day.

  • Jamile

I really loved the one you’re wearing, could you tell us where is from?

    • Breanna

Jamile, that’s what I want to know too! lol. Love the one she has on! … I also love the varible prices ranges listed. I don’t have a ton of money to drop on a single sweater (even if it’s worth it), so seeing things that I can afford along with the high end stuff is really nice to see! Thanks for the ideas!

Love your choice of sweaters for this season. My fave this winter has been Gandys Mustard Merino Wool Cable Sweater (or jumper as we call it in the UK!) It’s so cozy and comfy and looks so good too

    Hey Gen
I really love reading your blog after work with a cup of coco but sometimes when I am looking at all the cute clothes you post I get a bit depressed due to the prices. I’m in college so sweaters that cost $730 or even $40 are very much out of reach. Could you maybe do some more college level pricing outfits for us broke gals out there!? Thanks

I love a oversized pullover or a cardigan on cool days just throw one on to pop off to store,or a light sweater, being in North Carolina the weather changes every five minutes so I keep my closet prepared for anything!
