Dive Into This Summer’s Best Swimsuits

Happy 4th, everyone! I consider the Fourth of July the official kickoff to beach season, so I rounded up some of my favorite swimsuits from this year’s collections. Whether you’re a one-piece girl, a sporty swimmer or a two-piece loyalist, there’s something for everyone here that will make you look and feel confident on the beach or at the pool.

ONE-PIECES

Summersalt The Deep Dive

(Or this TAVIK Chase one-piece)

The simple coloring is super flattering for any body shape.

  1. La Perla Summer Energy

I love the retro print, and the underwire makes this a good pick for anyone looking for a little extra support.

Onia Gloria

This smart suit has internal boning and padded cups—and a fresh print that puts a modern spin on gingham.

Vilebrequin Tuxedo

You can’t go wrong with a great color and simple cut. Bonus: The straps can be worn either straight or crossed, so you can mix it up at will.

Girls on Swim Bella

The super-high cut will make your legs look like they go on for miles.

Karla Colette Zaha One-Shoulder Swimsuit

With a simple, but truly stunning design, this piece is a work of art, and will make you feel totally feminine.

Ookioh Lisbon

A clean cut always looks modern.

BIKINIS

Mara Hoffman The Rio

The geometric print on this comfy bikini will definitely turn heads.

Milly Sirolo Ruffle Bikini

A ruffled bandeau and sleek bottom in a punchy bright print are playful and elegant at the same time.

Madewell Tie-Front High-Waisted Bikini in Fresh Strawberries

Nothing says “summertime” like sweet strawberries—or an equally sweet high-waisted bikini.

Solid & Striped The Leslie

I love this fresh take on the classic striped bikini from one of my favorite brands.

Same Los Angeles Triangle Top and String Bottom

Same’s “Skin” collection looks like just that: a second skin, only better.

L*SPACE Daisy Top and Lily Bottom

The surfer-girl floral print screams “Malibu cool.” (And let’s be honest, wouldn’t we all rather be in Malibu?)

3. Sidway Debbie Top and Vivian Tie Side Bottom

(alternate: Christian Dior tie front bikini)

The bows on this two-piece are pure romance.

CUTOUTS

  1. Crew Reversible Knot Cut-Out One-Piece

This sherbert-colored, sporty suit straddles the line between bikini and one-piece.

6. The Ones Who Luna One-Piece

I love that this cut showcases the top (aka more flattering!) part of the stomach.

Flagpole Lynn With Sash

The pretty details (bowed sash, double bands in the back) are what make this suit special.

Beverly Beach Erika Set

(alternate: Jets Australia Mesh Cutout )

Calling all 80s-obsessed badasses out there: This is the super-sexy cut for you.

Galamaar Oh Margo!

(alternate: Lost Ink Keyhole Swimsuit )

The retro styling is inspired by the likes of Jane Birkin and Twiggy. In other words, this suit exudes confidence and glamour.

2. Isabella Rose BeUntitled documentach Solids

A subtle showing of skin and a racerback construction make this an ideal pick for anyone trying a cutout design for the first time.

Where could we find the one you are wearing? The crochet look, scalloped pattern, and defined waist are perfection, especially for those of us that like to stick to black swimsuits but love texture and patterns.

  • Jelina

    Hi Gen
I can’t believe with an amazing body like yours that you wear one pieces!! The one pieces are pretty but you could totally rock the two piece bikini. XO Suzanne

    I really like #4!

I really wanted to try a one-piece, so I ordered one and was so bummed when it got misdelivered and returned 🙁
My one-piece dreams are on hold, but I’m definitely into it.

I totally love ❤️ The one pieces because I’m an active mom with two boys that love the ocean. I’m surfing, body boarding, body surfing, boogie boarding, paddle boarding I need suits that are tough and gorgeous no time for flimsy. So I love this post thanks for your share.
