Thanks for asking us about our choices and viewpoint. I love hearing you speak on instagram. I had trouble accessing your yoga sessions with Michelle and your create cultivate virtual conversation for some reason in the UK. I would love it if they were saved on your IGTV ,so we could access them if they are missed due to massive time zone issues. I would love love love if you had a podcast. How amazing would that be!!!! That would be amazing. I love hearing about your interests becase I have alot of the same and you give me so many ideas and I have tried so many thimgs out since you launched in 2017. You do have an impact on individual lives Gen. You are very relatable, your have a great sense of humour and what I think I admire the most is thatyou are just very ‘real’. I don’t have kids and I am single. I have had massive health issues that have plagued me for the past 7 years and I lost my dad and my world kind of stopped. Your blog allowed me to dream I would have a child one day and listening to your stories about your kids and what they are interested in etc inspires me so much because I think ‘yes’ I would do that or I would try and do that. Now, I say all this not to put forward some form of pressure or presume you have the time to do everything we as your listeners would love to hear and see. You are one person and you have a focused approach towards your family and the growth you have together. Whatever you would add or whatever you choose to discuss I just enjoy to be honest. You make me feel better, in terms, of I have opportunites to make positive changes in my life in my house , I have the opportunity to learn something new. I now take yoga, I now use eco friendly cleaning products, I now experiment with smoothies and so many others things I have implemented into my life because of your words, images, videos and this great blog. Apologies for such a long comment but I wanted to express my positive learning from you and my show my gratitude for you and your family. Thank you Gen xxxx

Love these posts Gen I love how you share your family with us. Your kids are adorable and I am a big fan of Supernatural as well.

  • Genie

Sorry, I had tech problems trying to answer the question about methods of communication. I give a 1 to most all the categories except email. I would find it very interesting to here what pointers you have for raising chickens & bees. Thanks for helping us all during our social distancing life!!!

  • Vicky

Hi Gen, I hope things are still quarantine normal and healthy for everyone. Just wanted to say Thank You for being so real! I am almost 50 and have a progressive form of MS with a few other ailments. I’m pretty much home bound so the quarantine really isn’t any different for me. I’m unable to do yoga or other traditional exercises, but I would love hearing your thoughts on different meditations and what kind you use.

    Thank you again,
    Vicky

Dying. Love when you include your family, but being a Mom myself, carving out time for yourself is difficult and critical and although my exposure to you is due to Supernatural initially, it’s heartwarming to watch you carve out your own direction. Your kids and husband are not who you are and you deserve to shine a light on you.

I’d love to see more about how you are navigating this crazy pandemic. And sharing what you feel are parenting fails cause I’ve been failing every day and as a single parent with a special needs kid and my own issues, it’s been heartbreaking.

  • Carly

“If you say Jared, God help me 😂” had me DYING lmao 😂😂 We love that you “have your own thing”!!!

  • ADELE THOMSON

Being in the house day after day I find I’ve gotten extremely lazy. I say I’m gonna work out every morning but I just wind up sitting on the couch and watching TV. The only thing I do alot of is cooking and eating. I just need some inspiration. It’s just me and my dog and she’s no help . Any suggestions?

    • Alexander

Thanks for taking the opportunity to read our opinions and I’m super excited for the posts that are yet to come, (specially the cooking ones yay 😁). I hope you have a great day 🙌

    • Carolyn Hartley

i was totally going to say Jared but didnt want my survey deleted. 😂 now that Ive given it some thought Id like to see more stuff about parenting, family time and what inspires you to blog and write. Id also like advice on how to start a blog and make it successful. Youre such a good mother. Id love to see what else I can learn aboit you!

  • Kim Jacobs

I know your target demographic is young women but there are a LIT of older women who also love you and follow you. I’d love to see some fitness routines that would suit older, less flexible, unfit, women get started on the road to better fitness. Even some of the younger people, I’m sure, would benefit from some less strenuous routines.

I hope you and the family are staying mentally healthy and keeping occupied. Much love.

Hi Gen! I just wanted to say that I love your cooking posts, they’re my favourite! You’ve given me and my father some ideas for quarantine. I’m a university student so, thank god, studies are the only thing I have to worry about right now.

Hope you and your family are well and healthy. Much love from Spain! Xoxo.

Ps: Sorry if I have bad grammar. Spanish keyboard 🙃

    Good afternoon,
I just got done with work and I’m fortunate enough to be able to work from home. I’m been outside working in my flower beds and blowing the pollen off my deck.
I love keeping up with your little family. I enjoy seeing your kids outside with the chickens and bunnies when you post on Instagram. You are definitely helping me stay positive and smile through this time of isolation.
Stay home and safe. Sending love and light your way. 💗🍄

  • Jessie Woosley

I love this! Thanks for asking us our opinions/thoughts. I love your blog and always look forward to what you post next. You are an inspiration 💗

  • Shondelle

I am not sure if it comes under ‘green living’ but I love to see the little snippets of how you use your land, things like the morning walk video you did to check the chickens and the bees, or the post about getting rid of the ducks, or just seeing your family cook with ingredients you have grown yourself. Since our son was born my husband and I have been dreaming of / saving towards moving out of the suburbs to a small rural block. There are plenty of places to find inspiration for what to do with the house but your posts inspire me for how to use the land, helps to keep the dream alive and provides practical ideas we can try. Thanks

  • Elina

I loved doing this survey! And I laughed a lot at your warning about Jared 😂 It was a great idea!!!
    LOVE YOU, GEN

  • Tiffany

    Hi Gen!
Thanks for taking the time to ask us what we would like to see 😊 Also, love seeing your recipes! Inspires me to cook more! Just wanted to add, in a recipe recently you had Tom (?) squeeze some lemon in. The citrus crusher works best if you put the lemon/lime in the other way. Just wanted to let you know ☺️ Hope you are all safe and happy in this troubling time! Xo

  • Natalie

Thanks for taking the time to listen to us. If possible, could you include/recommend items in your blog for those of us on a budget as well? I go through and read posts from time to time, but overall, it feels like I’m not your target audience because I really can’t afford like 93% of the products you talk about.

  • Amanda seyler

Gen i just want to thank u for listing to us and i hope that your family and u stay safe.I will tell u a little more about my self. I love to read and projects, and crafts. I also love being outdoors to. And i love animals espilly dogs. I also love pizza and chocolate. send my love to u and your family. p.s. i love watching supernaturals.

  • Kristin

I love your blog and learning more about you. If I had to make a suggestion about what I would want to see next it would be a relatable post about your life in quarantine. No manicured perfect photos, just you in your comfy clothes with no makeup and just showing what a normal day is like. I love your fashion and beauty blogs but sometimes I feel like they are unattainable to someone like me. This is not a criticism at all, I absolutely love you and your posts. I guess I would just like to see a more stripped down less manicured side of your life.

  • Christina Thomson

Great survey! I’ve loved your yoga sessions lately, and the books you recommend about mindful parenting and books for children have been so beneficial for me and my kids. I also appreciate how you bring small-businesses-doing-great-things, and important causes into the spotlight.

Thanks so much–your content is meaningful!

  • Sarah

Thank you for being who you are Gen! I love the blog, and I love the positive energy that you radiate, especially in uncertain times like these. I would love to see more about your garden/farm, specifically the upkeep and maintenance that it requires. Best wishes and take care! x

  • Hena

I forgot to mention this in the survey – would love to see content on gardening and DIY projects!

  • Jenni

Hello Gen, thanks for this we female’s need to stick together your a beautiful person and I would love to find out more about you as well. Thanks for this.
    Sincerely
    Jen

Hi Gen, thanks for putting this survey out and reaching out for us. Yes, the quarantine has helped as much as it drives me crazy sometimes. I usually can’t keep up with any live stream but I would love to have a link to watch it later. Also about topics I would like to see here is your self care routine. I have struggled with hypothyroidism since a teen and harmonal imbalances. I would like to see some of your tried and proven natural products/remedies to help with day today feeling active, energized, sleep well, and so on. Thank you again and stay safe!

  • Kimberly

Love you and everything you do. Thank you for letting us see into your home and your family’s life. It has been fun to see all the pics of your beautiful family and to watch little videos. They definitely brighten up these crazy days at home. Thank you for that. So I’ve been admiring your hair and how beautiful and healthy it looks. So I was wondering if you had any hair advice or tips you could share. My hair has started to become unmanageable just before quarantine (I had some surgery done). Again thank you and your family for continuing to lift of spirits up and putting smiles on our faces. Also all the other work y’all are doing to raise awareness and money for organizations in need.

  • Jennifer Lunin

Thanks! Love your blog, and have ordered several of the be products you recommend. I’m a tree-hugging, bleeding-heary liberal…and proud of it. 😉 So, I love the eco-friendly stuff and anything that has to do with saving the environment, and treating both people & animals with love & respect. All life is sacred. Keep up the great work. ♥️🙂

  • Daria

Thank you for taking interest in the reader’s perspective, Gen! I love your blog, and it’s been very inspiring watching you grow as a blogger over the years. I am learning a lot from you, and your committment to sustainability and eco-friendly lifestyle has made me re-evaluate my own approach to things in my life. Most of all, I think your blog is genuine and relatable, so I’ll be interested in anything you want to write about. I am excited to see what new topics you’ll come up with. 🙂

  • Danielle

Good afternoon Gen and to your family,

I’m commenting from the UK. I’ve just found your blog. I’ve recently seen your video where you share your passion for gardening. I’d love to see more really about your passions and interests. Although I’m not a gardener myself I do love sitting in the garden that my mom has designed and put a lot of work into. It’s a safe haven and welcomes all sorts of wildlife. I’d love to know if you’ve got any recipes at all or fun activities for children too as I tend to have my niece with us on a weekend. If you feel you need inspiration as well with gardening or just something to feel connected to whilst isolating / social distancing there is a Facebook group called View From My Window. People from all over the world are sharing pictures of what their view is from their homes. Stay safe and take care.

  • Manuela

Hi Gen! Thanks for listen to us and for all the things you share on your blog! I just wanted to say that I love the way you are, such a positive and lovely person.
Sorry I didn’t complete the whole survey but, I live in Argentina and I couldn’t find it on the list… I live in a small town called Balcarce in province of Buenos Aires. I think you’ll love this place, I hope someday you could come visit us!
I’m eager to hear about you and your wonderful family soon. Hope everyone is healthy, happy and surrounded by love. Best wishes for you all. Love you Gen!
    Manu

Bon matin Geneviève! Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about this book called Self-Compassion, written by Dr.Kristen Neff. This morning during my yoga practice, you came to mind with your daily Wave Meditation. I couldn’t help but wonder if you ever considered recording one, a self compassion meditation. What would you say to your inner child? Your 9 years-old mini Gen? Or your 23 years-old who was a bit confused but full of hope? Or your pregnant-self-thinking-how-am-I-going-to-do-this. Again.? And eventually maybe, a recording, a legacy for your future teenagers, or family, your mother, that friend you’ve haven’t talk to in so long. And finally, the most important recording. The one for yourself. The private one.

Here it is. I wish you a lovely day. 🙂

    Soph
